Muppet madness comes to Edinburgh

In today's paper I wrote about the Muppets, Music and Magic event coming to Filmhouse, a collection of films and compilation videos celebration Jim Henson, the creator of the Muppets.

While heading along to the cinema is the best place to get a fix of Kermit, Miss Piggy and the rest of the gang, there are a few clips online that might keep you going until it kicks off on 18 April.

First up is the Muppet Bohemian Rhapsody video from 2009 which has almost hit 20,000,000 views and is rumoured to be one of the main reasons for Walt Disney greenlighting the new Muppet film, simply called The Muppets.

There's also the other hugely popular video, Pöpcørn, featuring The Swedish Chef, popcorn and some music.

Finally, there's a clip from a pilot made by Henson which didn't go to full series, The Wizard of Id. It's a bit of an oddity but it's the sort of thing you'll see a lot of at Filmhouse, a rarity that may never make it to DVD.

Have I missed any classic Muppet clips? Let me know in the comments below.
