Black Dynamite explodes onto just one Edinburgh cinema screen

I'll admit I've been a bit slow in highlighting this one, but there's still a few more days to catch a film which first appeared in Edinburgh at the 2009 Film Festival and has now secured a wider release.

Michael Jai White stars as the eponymous Black Dynamite in a retro-styled Blaxploitation spoof set in the 1970s, in which a Vietnam vet sets out to avenge the killing of his brother. He soon uncovers a trail of deception and greed, all to the funkiest of soundtracks and coolest of action moves.

Edinburgh's Filmhouse is showing it until Thursday night, so there's still time to catch it before it vanishes onto DVD. Here's the trailer:

At least it's not vanishing - full stop.

Sounds fun, though; I'll keep an eye out for it.
