Diversions Film Festival 2009

One event I didn't have time to cover in tomorrow's Reel Time column is the 2009 Diversions Film Festival, running from Friday 6 - Sunday 9 November.

The annual festival aims to provide an educational introduction to historical works and a glimpse into ongoing dialogues at the edge of moving image production.

This year’s programme has been curated by distinguished filmmakers, distributors and researchers both local and from around the world.

This year's programme features a special focus on Artists Film in Scotland to coincide with the Dean Gallery of Modern Art's current exhibition 'Running Time'. This includes a collaborative Study Day 'Focus on Film' to be held on 7th November at the National Gallery Complex.
